Privacy Policy
Last updated 9 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data Creators Store (Creators Store (operator legal entity name and address to be added before launch)) processes and why. It reflects how the software is built today.
Data we collect
- Creators: name, email, hashed password (we never store passwords in plain text), profile and store content, plan and billing status, payment gateway keys you connect (stored encrypted, never shown again) and any legacy payout details (stored encrypted; shown only in masked form), and activity logs for security.
- Buyers: name and email entered at checkout, order history with the creator, and payment references from the payment provider. We do not receive or store full card numbers or UPI PINs.
- Store visitors: page views and clicks with the referring site, UTM tags, device type and approximate country. Visitors are counted with a salted, daily-rotating hash of IP address and browser — raw IP addresses are not stored and no tracking cookies are set.
How we use it
- To run accounts, stores, checkout, delivery, refunds and payouts.
- To show creators analytics and generate growth recommendations from their own store data.
- To send transactional emails (verification, receipts, delivery, refunds, billing).
- To prevent fraud and abuse and to keep the service secure.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to run the product: payment processors (Razorpay, PayPal), hosting and database (Vercel and the database provider), file storage, email delivery (Resend) and AI processing (Anthropic, for AI features you use). A buyer's name and email are shared with the creator they bought from. We do not sell personal data.
Retention and your rights
We keep data while your account is active and as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting obligations. You can request access, correction or deletion by contacting us.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. See the Cookie Policy.
